Teryn Colmery

I am from Los Angeles, California, and studied ballet seriously throughout my childhood and teenage years, including moving first to Washington, D.C., and then New York City to pursue ballet. After a few years in a small professional company, I stopped dancing during the pandemic and started my degree at Fordham University. I graduated in 2025 summa cum laude and as valedictorian. Shortly after, I began working at Euclid Transactional as an M&A Claims Analyst.

My experience transitioning from dance, to school, to my current career has involved a patchwork of jobs, hours spent honing my resume, and lots of soul searching. My dance experience has been integral to my success, and has shaped my work ethic and values. Through Second Act, I hope to share what I've learned with other dancers who are navigating a similar transition.
