Teddy Watler

Teddy Watler is originally from Long Beach, CA. He trained at Long Beach Ballet and attended summer intensive programs at the San Francisco Ballet School. In 2017, he joined Oregon Ballet Theatre, where he danced for three seasons. With OBT, he performed in works by choreographers including George Balanchine, Alvin Ailey, Septime Webre, Trey McIntyre, and Helen Simoneau.
Prior to joining OBT, Teddy graduated from the University of Chicago, where he was named a Student Marshal and awarded the Feitler Prize for Outstanding Undergraduate Work. He is currently a student at Yale Law School, where he is a Coker Fellow as well as a student co-director and member of the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic.
