BFA, Ballet Performance, Point Park University

MA, Arts Administration, Goucher College

Moira Price is Director of the Dwight School Foundation, overseeing annual and capital fundraising for Dwight School New York.  For the past decade, she has worked in fundraising in fields as diverse as dance, Jewish philanthropy, and aging services.

Moira began her professional ballet career at 16 as an apprentice with Ballet Theatre of Maryland.  After graduating from Point Park University, she joined Charlottesville Ballet where she performed as a Company Artist.  She earned an MA in Arts Administration from Goucher College, where her thesis focused on the psychosocial motivations of female donors.

Moira is a firm believer that performing artists have vital transferable skills that make them an asset to any workplace, and is deeply invested in advising others with non-traditional career trajectories.

In her free time, Moira loves to run, read, and spend time with her geriatric chihuahua and mean old cat. She is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the city of New York, advocating for foster youth.
