Miriam Landis is an author, educator, and former professional ballet dancer who brings deep experience in both the performing arts and education to her work.
She writes fiction that blends her deep love of dance with themes of resilience, growth, and artistry. Her books include Lauren in the Limelight, Girl in Motion, and Girl on Pointe.
Miriam is a mom of four and loves supporting the dance and literary community. She trained at the School of American Ballet and danced with Miami City Ballet. She teaches ballet at Pacific Northwest Ballet School and other studios in the Seattle area. Miriam is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of dancers and artists.
