Mimi Deddens

Mimi Deddens began her dance training at age four with the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia. By eight, she was performing professionally with Pennsylvania Ballet (now Philadelphia Ballet), and at eleven, she toured internationally as Marie in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. She continued performing with the company as a pre-professional student and attended summer intensives at top ballet schools including SAB, Boston Ballet, and PNB.

After high school, Mimi took a gap year to pursue a professional contract, but pivoted following injuries to gain work experience—including an internship at an NGO in Washington, D.C.—and apply to college. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022 with a B.A. in Cognitive Science and a minor in Consumer Psychology from Wharton. At Penn, she danced with Sparks Dance Company and served as its Director of Marketing.

Mimi is now based in New York City and works as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture.
