Mike Gross

I spent my entire life dancing and it was my identity. As I changed careers I wanted to do something that affected the world in a positive way and also something that gave me a more secure economic situation for myself. I found fintech and eventually crypto because I realized that everyday, everywhere around the world, people touch money. The financial system is not built to be equal and does not treat everyone the same, and there are a lot of companies and technologies that are working to improve those broken systems. Using what I leveraged as a dancer (intense work ethic, empathy, discipline, creatvity), I found my way to Product Marketing, a role that requires an equal amount of EQ and IQ. Now, as I continue to establish myself in this new industry, I still have goals and aspirations that stretch beyond what I am doing today. Just like when I was dancing, the hunger for excellence never leaves.
