McCall Sheetz is from Laguna Beach, California. She trained from a young age in ballet and contemporary dance. In 2014 she received a scholarship to study at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, through NSLI-Y. McCall graduated from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre/Fordham University BFA Program in May 2019. She danced with the American Swiss Ballet Company from 2018-2021 and performed around the world in countries such as: France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and Germany. She was also a featured dancer in the Netflix series: “Hit and Run”. McCall is the founder of Dancer Talks, a cutting edge podcast and web show series that connects dancers around the world, shares their stories, and innovates the dance community. The first season of Dancer Talks was featured on Ballet Project TV, a dance streaming network. McCall is a personal trainer and specializes in training professional and pre professional dancers. She also runs marathons and will be running the Boston Marathon this year. McCall is a Post Baccalaureate Pre-Medical/ Pre- Physical Therapy student at Columbia University with the goal of becoming a physical therapist, in order to help the future generation of dancers and athletes.
