Mariah Hesser

I was born in New York City and began dancing at age three, receiving my early ballet training at Greenwich Ballet Academy in Greenwich, CT, in addition to summer intensives at American Ballet Theater. After attending the School of American Ballet's Summer Course at age 12, I subsequently enrolled in the full-time program. I trained a SAB for the next six years while balancing a full academic course load, ultimately making the decision to apply to college instead of focusing on a professional ballet career.

During my final year at SAB, I was accepted to Barnard College at Columbia University, where I was an active member of the dance community on campus; I graduated in 2023 with Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. I'm now based in San Francisco, where I work at an investment bank
