Joffery Ballet

I joined The Joffrey Ballet as a seasonal dancer in November 2001 and became a full company member in August 2003.

I was raised in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, and received my dance training from Sherry Moray, The Chicago Academy for the Arts, and The Harid Conservatory. Before joining The Joffrey Ballet, I was an apprentice with Alabama Ballet.

Throughout my career with The Joffrey, I have performed featured roles in productions including Celebration, Crossed, Confetti, Le Sacre du Printemps (The Chosen One), Light Rain, Lilac Garden, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Suite Saint-Saëns, Monotones, The Man in Black, Incantations, The Green Table, and Nine Sinatra Songs. I have also performed in Lar Lubovitch’s Smile With My Heart and Othello (Emilia), as well as Yuri Possokhov’s Bells and Don Quixote (Mercedes). Additional repertoire includes George Balanchine’s Square Dance and a featured role in Stravinsky’s Violin Concerto.

In 2009, I was recognized by Pointe Magazine in its “Standouts: Our 12 Favorite Performances of 2009” feature for my portrayal of The Chosen One in Nijinsky’s Le Sacre du Printemps. In 2011, I was featured in Marie Claire magazine.

I also appeared as a dancer in the feature film Save the Last Dance. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Leadership from Northwestern University and have pursued graduate studies at the University of Chicago.

I currently work for Google and I can honestly say I love my job. I am grateful to be in the next chapter of my life and hope to help other dancers in their next passions.

Outside of dance, I enjoy music, reading, teaching, running, biking, yoga, cooking, and traveling.
