Alabama Ballet
Bryn began dancing at Alabama Dance Academy in Hoover, AL and later moved to train at The Rock School for Dance Education. Following this, Bryn joined the Professional Division at Pacific Northwest Ballet and went on to join Alabama Ballet in Birmingham, AL where she danced for seven seasons. A few favorite career highlights include performing Carousel(A Dance) by Christopher Wheeldon and performing in the company premiere of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker with Pacific Northwest Ballet as well as performing roles such as Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, Arabian Coffee in Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, and Green Girl in Balanchine’s Western Symphony with Alabama Ballet. Bryn has also performed as a principal guest artist with Griffin Ballet Theatre.
While dancing, Bryn began courses online through The University of Alabama and later transferred to The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated summa cum laude in August 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minors in management and neuroscience. Upon retirement from Alabama Ballet in 2024, Bryn began working for Vulcan Materials Company as an intern focusing on Organizational Change Management and enjoys teaching ballet weekly at Alabama Dance Academy as well as performing occasionally as a guest artist. She is excited to join Second Act as mentor and help artist prepare for and move towards their second act!
