Antonia grew up in Laingsburg, Michigan. She trained at the Children’s Ballet Theatre of Michigan, and attended summer intensives through American Ballet Theatre and Joffrey Ballet Chicago. She attended the University of Michigan for undergrad, where she continued dancing with Salto Ballet Company. She graduated in 2019 with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in creative writing.
After undergrad, Antonia worked as a post-baccalaureate research fellow at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, a division of the National Institutes of Health. Her research focused on transcranial magnetic stimulation as a treatment for substance use disorder. In 2021, she matriculated into medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She will graduate in May 2025, and plans to pursue residency in general surgery. Her primary interests are surgical oncology and global health.
