Dance has been part of my identity since I was two years old. I've had the honor of training at institutions such as Morris County School of Technology's Academy of Performing Arts, Broadway Dance Center's AIM Company, the Joffrey Ballet School, the 92NY Harkness Dance Center, and several others. Training in jazz, ballet, modern, tap, and contemporary taught me discipline, bodily awareness, and how to keep going through difficulty. It also introduced me to physical therapy, which became a second passion after years of injuries and recovery pushed me toward understanding human movement from a clinical perspective.

Throughout high school and college, I pursued both passions seriously. I moved to New York City and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a dual degree in Dance and Biomedical Sciences. After working in dance studios as well as medical offices, including Spear Physical Therapy and Flyspace Performing Arts Physical Therapy, I applied to both Medical and Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. During my gap year, I worked at the Northwell Cancer Institute, supporting clinical trial operations and strategic development. However, with help from Second Act and many hours of self-studying career coaching methods, I realized something unexpected: what excited me most wasn't the clinical work itself. It was the systems behind it. The workflows, the infrastructure, and the way organizations are built to function under pressure. That clarity redirected me entirely.

After an intense job search, I found my next opportunity at PwC. I am now a Third-Party Risk Management Associate, where I help organizations assess their vendor ecosystems and build more resilient, compliant operations. My growing focus is in responsible AI adoption and how emerging technology can be implemented with integrity and real strategic intent. I've pivoted a lot since transitioning away from an active dance career, but the same core principles still motivate me today: curiosity, discipline, and a need to understand how things work so they can work better.

Second Act helped me make sense of that transition, how dance has influenced my career pathways, and ways that dance can remain a part of my life. I'm here because I want to offer that to someone else. Whether you're exploring graduate or post-graduate healthcare programs, considering a full career pivot to business or technology careers, or just trying to figure out what comes next, I want to help you build a path that still feels like you.
