While dance was once the central part of my life, I eventually chose to explore other opportunities and attended the University of Notre Dame, where I studied finance. I wasn’t initially sure what a career in finance would look like for me, but after many conversations with mentors and alumni in the field, I was drawn to Leveraged Finance for its fast-paced nature and client-facing work. After graduating, I was fortunate to join J.P. Morgan as an analyst on the Leveraged Finance team.
The transition wasn’t always easy, but over time I came to see how much my dance training translated to a professional setting, from discipline and attention to detail to performing under pressure. I was fortunate to have the support of many as I navigated my path after dance, and I hope to offer the same guidance to others.
