Amy Potter began dancing at the age of five in Glastonbury, CT, where she discovered her passion for dance. There, she began training pre-professionally with the Hartt School in Hartford, CT until the age of fifteen. Amy then moved to New Hampshire to continue her training at the St. Paul’s School Ballet Company. In her summers, she trained in programs at the American Academy of Ballet and Academia Teatro Alla Scala.
In 2024, Amy graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in Asian Studies. During her time at Notre Dame, she served as President of the Notre Dame Ballet Club and was also involved with the Notre Dame Dance Company.
Amy is now a Leverage Finance and Global Corporate Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in Chicago. Her background in ballet led her develop a unique skill set which prepared her for the fast-paced, dynamic nature of the finance industry. Amy is excited to mentor fellow dancers as they navigate their own transitions to higher education and professional careers, and she is eager to share the helpful insights that shaped her own path.
