Hillary Woodard began her early dance training with Ballet Spartanburg in South Carolina and attended summer programs with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Hillary was accepted to trainee programs with BalletMet and Richmond Ballet but chose to continue her dance training at the University of South Carolina (USC). While attending USC, Hillary performed in productions of Giselle, George Balanchine’s Stars and Stripes and Serenade, along with other contemporary pieces choreographed by Thaddeus Davis. Hillary graduated from USC cum laude in 2013 with a B.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography and English Language and Literature. She continued her education at Campbell University School of Law, graduating with her J.D. in 2016. Hillary is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and has worked as an Assistant District Attorney and in private practice. She is currently working as a nonpartisan staff attorney in the Legislative Analysis Division of the North Carolina General Assembly.
