Aubrey Kazimi

Aubrey began dancing at the age of three in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Training at respected institutions worldwide, such as the Harid Conservatory and Boston Ballet, led to professional performances with The Pennsylvania Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, and Ballet Arizona. Aubrey’s favorite featured roles include Dark Angel in George Balanchine’s “Serenade” and Principal woman in Balanchine’s “Walpurgisnacht Ballet.” Other career highlights include performing at venues such as Carnegie Hall and dancing in an off-Broadway production. While performing, Aubrey studied at the University of Pennsylvania and gained meaningful clinical and research experience at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She graduated in 2020 with a degree in psychology, magna cum laude. She also holds a certificate in pediatric psychosocial care from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is a candidate to receive her Master of Public Health from George Washington University in May of 2024. Her research interests lie at the intersection of psychosocial care, public health, and the arts. She is currently attending Goucher college’s pre-medical post-baccalaureate program and is involved in research with the National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science.
